ENUGU REGIONAL SCRIPTURE UNION (SU) EXECUTIVES VISIT THE ANGLICAN BISHOP OF ENUGU, THE RT. REV’D PROF. SAMUEL O. IKE

The visit was marked by a glorious and joyful atmosphere as His Lordship, the Rt. Rev’d Prof. Samuel O. Ike, Bishop of Enugu, received the executives of the Enugu Regional Scripture Union (SU).

His Lordship was particularly delighted to see the SU Nigeria General Director, Engr. Cosmas Udoh Uwem, who was the Expositor at the just-concluded Enugu Region Conference over the weekend.

It is worthy of note that the General Director was among the brethren who were kidnapped in June, following a programme he had with some members of his staff. They were held captive for twenty-one (21) days before their miraculous release.

Consequently, His Lordship was filled with great joy to see Engr. Cosmas Udoh Uwem alive and well, together with his beloved wife, who is standing immediately to the left of the Bishop in the photograph. In his prayers, His Lordship returned all the glory to the King of Glory for His faithfulness, protection, and miraculous deliverance, especially that none of them was lost.

Also present was the Enugu Regional Chairman, Mr. Eze Okocha Eze, standing immediately to the right of the Bishop, together with his wife and other members of the Regional Executive.

Indeed, this is a testimony of God’s unfailing faithfulness and mighty deliverance.
