COURTESY VISIT TO THE BISHOP OF ENUGU BY GLOBAL OLD GIRLS OF AGGSA, AWKUNANAW

On 14 October 2026, a delegation of the Global Old Girls of Anglican Girls’ Grammar School, Awkunanaw, Enugu, led by Dr. Nkechi Hope Ezeilo, Mrs. Pauline Ngozi Onuchukwu and Mrs. Gloria Chinyere Okonkwo (all of the 1988 Set), paid a courtesy visit to His Lordship, the Rt. Rev’d Prof. Samuel Obiajulu Ike, Bishop and Proprietor of the school.

The visit aimed to familiarise the delegation with His Lordship and brief him on the Old Girls’ multi-million-naira intervention projects. Key concerns raised included project maintenance, security, alumni representation in school management, water supply, discipline, hygiene and academic excellence.

His Lordship appreciated their contributions, advised them to work through the Principal and Diocesan School Administrator to address the challenges, and assured them of inclusion in the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC) in due time.

The delegation expressed gratitude for his fatherly counsel and pledged continued partnership with the Diocese towards restoring the school’s glory.

To God be all the glory!!!
