June 2025 Edition of Excerpts from some of His Lordship’s Messages

MUCH LOVE AND GREETINGS FROM YOUR FRIEND AND BISHOP – THE RT. REV’D PROF. SAMUEL O. IKE, the Diocesan, Anglican Diocese of Enugu.

Nothing incapacitates a mighty man of valor like being ignorant of his inbuilt potentials; please read, digest and share.

1. A man’s life consists of who possesses him, not what he possesses. Friends, making a name for one’s self does not last but rather dying to self. What will you be remembered for when you can no longer breathe? (Luke 12:15).

2. A teaching Church has a way of raising mature Christians. Dear pastor, please do not raise half-baked Christians. Be deliberate in teaching God’s word. (Colossians 1:28).

3. When heaven rejoices:
You may be given the best house, the latest car etc; heaven takes note but does not rejoice. Make heaven rejoice today by giving your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. That is the only time you can cause heaven to rejoice. (Luke 15:7).

4. Uninvited Guest that cannot be bribed:
No matter who you are, your qualifications and achievements; DEATH is an uninvited guest that must visit every man born of a woman. When a man’s ways are not right before the Lord, it increases the level of fear he has over death, which is the greatest fear on the surface of the earth. (Hebrews 9:27).

5. His Lordship’s analogy on the four (4 ) stages of life – a call for decision making.
Stage 1 – While all these are (it is called the Activities of life).
Stage 2 – When Death comes (End of life activities).
Stage 3 – After these things, Judgement (a day of accountability).
Stage 4 – After all these (Your destination; hell fire or heaven).
Friends, where will you spend your eternity? (Deuteronomy 30:15 / John 14:6).

6. The greatest wonder of all the wonders is that God enabled us to be called His children. Child of God, do not be ashamed to let the world know you are “Born Again”. Act it, and live it. (Psalms 96:3).

7. When you are confronted with the truth, do you change? Any truth that cannot change a man is falsehood. He who has the truth has the Son. (John 3:36).

8. Nothing stains a man badly like the love of money. You can be outwardly beautiful but rotten inside. Please be contented with what you have. (Hebrews 13:5).

9. Enjoying God’s Providence is not a guarantee that you are His child. Repent today and encounter new life in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:17).

10. Marriage should be honoured:
Marriage is not between two men; two women; a man and a dog; a woman and a monkey. Friends, every other marriage outside the one God ordained between a man and a woman should be condemned vehemently. (Genesis 2:24).

11. The more couples submit to the Lord; the more the man loves his wife and the more the wife submits to her husband. The head over the man is Christ while the head over the woman is the man. This is the principle of raising a godly home. (Ephesians 5:22).

12. Every other thing you placed before and above God is an idol. Sir, are you an idol worshiper? Jesus Christ is the Lord of all. Please worship only Him. (Exodus 20:3-5).

Friends, when God visits a man, He changes his history. It does not matter how horrible your past has been; HELP FROM ABOVE IS COMING YOUR WAY IN THIS MONTH OF JULY. Congratulations.
