May 2025 Edition of Excerpts from some of His Lordship’s Messages

MUCH LOVE AND GREETINGS FROM YOUR FRIEND AND BISHOP – THE RT. REV’D PROF. SAMUEL O. IKE, the Diocesan, Anglican Diocese of Enugu.

Serving God and humanity with a responsibility mindset produces a man / woman of accountability; please read, digest and share.

1. Faithfulness is what is required of a steward; friends, never aspire to be famous, wealthy, influential, rich etc., but to be found faithful. (1 Corinthians 4:2).

2. His Lordship defined faithfulness as accomplishing one’s duty in such a manner that no other person can do it better than him or her before God and before man. May God find you faithful and introduce you to men. (Luke 16:12, 18:8).

3. Friends, if an earthly law court will not have mercy on a convicted criminal; do you think heaven will compromise its standard over sinners? Please live a righteous life and escape God’s judgement. ( Jeremiah 7:3-7, 11).

4. Secret society will not guarantee your security in life and destiny, many have tried it and they are long-forgotten in this world. Your security is guaranteed in Him. (Psalms 91:1).

5. Do not be too familiar with the things of the spirit and your walk with God that you lose God’s purpose for saving you. Ask brother Samson where spiritual lethargy landed him. (Judges 16: 21).

6. The most effective leadership style in history has remained the servant leadership. Lead to impact others and make heaven proud. Lead by example. Nepotism is not biblical; rather be a servant to all. (Mark 10:44).

7. The peace that Jesus Christ gives cannot be bought with earthly currency. Know Jesus and know Peace. (Philippians 4:7; Hebrews 6:18&19).

8. Nothing keeps a man going and established in life and destiny like covenant relationship. Please never joke nor be weary in keeping your part of your covenant with God, for He is a covenant keeping God. (Isaiah 54:10-14).

9. Covenant provokes the generosity of a man. The present day Church is mainly more of a receiving Church; be a giver! (Genesis 22:2).

10. No service rendered in the flesh will please God; be a child of God (be born again) first, before finding what to do for God. Eternal rewards come only via this principle. (John 3:6).

11. When heaven is silent:
Heaven is silent when you build cathedrals, donate cars, monies, and organise synods that attract billions of naira, yet no won soul is attributed to such ‘achievements.’ Nothing makes heaven rejoice like a single soul won for the Kingdom. (Luke 15:7).

12. When two people are given in to sex, the tendency is that they will go on with the act again and again. Young men and women; run away from sexual immorality. Nothing cuts short the glorious destinies of young people like sexual immorality. (1 Corinthians 6:18).

13. Whatever you can do well, you will do it better in Christ. Maximize this advantage in this kingdom by remaining in Him. (John 2:10).

14. Do not be too lazy child of God that you do not take note of the dealings of God in your life. Learn to go to Church or any other Christian gatherings with your writing materials. (2 Timothy 2:15).

Friends, aligning with God’s word opens a man’s eyes to the supernatural. In this month of June, you will experience supernatural manifestations. Congratulations.
