August 2025 Edition of some Sermon Excerpts of the Bishop

1. Friends, somebody can fight a good fight of life but not a good fight of faith. On the last day, your life achievements cannot qualify you for heaven. ONLY YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST CAN. (2 Timothy 4:7&8)

2. The only substitute for Peace:
Despite your fame, wealth, connections, pedigree, beauty and charisma; without Jesus in your life, you lack Peace. The only substitute for peace in your life and destiny is Jesus Christ. NO CHRIST, NO PEACE! (John 16:33)

3. Being in the call of the ordained ministry, yet you don’t know the God of the Ordination is an addictive deception of the highest order. Dear Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Singer/ Music minister, Miracle worker etc, are you “Born Again”? (2 Timothy 2:19)

4. Sheepishly obeying God guarantees uncommon supernatural supply. Friends, please ask the Zarephath woman; by obedience she gave her last hope and entered into an unending abundance. It takes a regenerated heart to give. This kind is called sacrificial giving. (1 Kings 17:13 – 16)

5. The highest demand of heaven over your life is to give your life to Christ. Every other request you make unto God in sin is an abomination. Your life will be better off in Christ. (John 3: 16, 36)

6. Sign of Christian Laziness:
When a child of God only studies the word of God in order to deliver a sermon / message to people, with zero intention for personal growth / edification, such a Christian is lazy. (2 Timothy 2:15; Philippians 2:15)

7. In a world where men and women clamour for the three basic needs of man; food, clothing and shelter, may nothing give you satisfaction until you find Jesus. He is the truth and the life. Accept Him and have real life. ( Psalms 42:2; John 10: 10)

8. The greatest race with the greatest prize in life:
If the only race you run in life and destiny is to make money; to marry; make good grades as a student; build a house etc, you are to be pitied. Run to make heaven, friends. The greatest race with the greatest prize in life is the heavenly race, to obtain the prize of heaven at last. (1 Corinthians 9: 24 – 27)

9. The greatest book, yet the most current and essential compact in the world is THE BIBLE. It gives stability in life and destiny. Dear friends, please decide to live by every word of God. (Matthew 4:4)

10. The 3 circles (TSD) of the unguided human being – EVIL THOUGHT not checked, leads to SIN and an unrepented sin leads to DEATH. Friends, it is not the original plan of God for you to die in sin. Believe in Jesus today and be marked for eternal life. (Ephesians 1:13, 14; 2 Peter 3: 9)

11. Fine in appearance and fine in the spirit; the definition of a true believer. It is an error to be fine in appearance and ugly in the spirit. (Revelation 7:14)

12. Every other thing in life is an addendum; knowing and serving Jesus Christ is the ultimate in life and destiny. Please, do not stop at the level of accepting Jesus Christ, only; ensure you follow through – be a disciple. (Luke 14:33; Revelation 3:17)
