FEBRUARY 2026 EDITION OF EXCERPTS FROM SOME OF HIS LORDSHIP’S MESSAGES.

MUCH LOVE AND GREETINGS FROM YOUR FRIEND AND BISHOP – THE RT. REV’D PROF. SAMUEL O. IKE, the Diocesan Bishop of Enugu (Anglican Communion).

1. Friends, you don’t try to be “Born Again”; you decide to be “Born Again”. Make a decision to invite Jesus Christ into your life today. (Ephesians 2: 8 & 9: 1 John 2: 1).

2. Money can buy you a house but it cannot buy you a home. Dear married men and women, please do anything lawful, honest and godly to safeguard your home. (Proverbs 14: 1; Proverbs 3: 33).

3. The Highest Error of All Ages:
You can acquire the whole world, yet you have not acquired salvation – it is called the highest error of all ages! Repent today and be assured of eternity. (Mark 8: 36, 37).

4. What you can never Find in any Curriculum:
There is No curriculum for Character Formation – in most institutions of higher learning; yet it is one of the most important things you need in order to be a worthy citizen of any nation and kingdom; and assumedly found worthy in on graduation from these institutions. Jesus Christ is the ultimate moulder of character. Receive grace to be diligent and blameless in this godless age. (Ephesians 2: 8 & 9; Luke 1: 74 & 75).

5. Daily Prayer of Every Believer:
Friends, as you study the word of God, go to church or any christian gathering; having an eye of understanding should be your daily prayer. SENSITIVITY TO HIS WORD PLACES YOU ON TOP IN LIFE AND DESTINY. (Psalm 119: 18; Isaiah 55: 11; Isaiah 66: 1 & 2).

6. Child of God, if you have lost passion to preach the word, you are no longer in Divine Agenda of God. Please be a bearer of Good News in a time like this, when the system of the world disseminates bad news on a daily basis. (2 Timothy 4: 2 – 5).

7. His Lordship’s Soft Reminder of What Should Be the Primary Goal / Prayer of Every Pastor:
The greatest goal / prayer of every pastor is that all the people under the influence of his voice and leadership would make heaven at last, not only to build a Church/Cathedral, pay assessments, get preferments etc. It implies that such a pastor lives/acts his preaching – let Christ be seen in you daily, dear pastor. (Colossians 1: 27 – 29).

8. When You Are an Ignorant Scholar:
Friends, you can be a PhD holder, a Professor and at the peak of your career, yet you don’t have Jesus Christ in your life as your personal Lord and Saviour. At this point, you can be addressed as an Ignorant Scholar by Divinity. (1 Corinthians 1: 19; 1 Corinthians 2: 14; 1 Corinthians 3: 19).

9. You Don’t Discover Your Life Partner by Sampling Your Body, dear young man or lady. Serve God; Be faithful and Keep Yourself Pure – this is called activating divine help for your marital connection. (1 Corinthians 6: 15 – 20; Isaiah 1: 19 & 20; Hebrews 13: 4).

10. What Have You Left for the Sake of Jesus Christ?
Friends, in this kingdom, something must leave you for you to live in a covenant relationship with Jesus. It could be unbelief, lust, malice, hatred, lying lips, strife etc. (Jeremiah 4: 4; James 1: 21; 1 Peter 2: 1).

11. If you do not have the Peace that Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace gives, you are living in pieces. (John 16: 33).

12. Dear brother and sister, how come you want to have protection in the name of Jesus Christ but you do not desire to have the same name and His spirit resident in you? His name is both timeless and ageless; you are not too young, neither are you too old to accept Jesus, friends. (2 Corinthians 6: 2; Jeremiah 23: 23 & 24; Acts 4: 12).

FRIENDS, THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL DEFEND AND SEE YOU THROUGH IN THIS YEAR OF OUR LORD “2026,” ESPECIALLY IN THIS MONTH OF MARCH. Congratulations! Happy New Month.
