DECEMBER 2025 EDITION OF EXCERPTS

DECEMBER 2025 EDITION OF EXCERPTS FROM SOME OF HIS LORDSHIP’S MESSAGES.

MUCH LOVE AND GREETINGS FROM YOUR FRIEND AND BISHOP – THE RT. REV’D PROF. SAMUEL O. IKE, the Diocesan Bishop of Enugu (Anglican Communion).

Please read, digest and share.

1. The antidote to having all that God destined for you in life and destiny is to LOVE HIM. Do you love Him absolutely, friends? (1 John 5: 3).

2. Friends, whenever God’s word affects you, please change. You will remain God’s delight when you do what pleases Him. (Ezra 7: 10; 2 Timothy 3: 16 & 17).

3. Dear Child of God, your calling is not a call to jealousy and competition:
It is wisdom to recognize one another’s giftedness and honour each other. It is not wisdom to live in jealousy and competition with one another, child of God. (Philippians 2: 3).

4. It is not absolutely necessary to have Okeite / Amadioha (deity) to whom you pay libation, friends. His Lordship pleads with you; have no reservations in loving the Lord. Let your consuming passion be with Him; please love Jesus Christ with all your consciousness. (Psalm 27: 4; 2 Cor. 5: 14 – 16).

5. What is that one thing you desire in life and destiny, friends? Has the vacuum in your life been filled? No amount of wealth, fame, beauty, educational qualifications, connections / networks will be able to fill the vacuum in your life, friends. ONLY JESUS CAN. MAKE HIM THE LORD OVER YOUR LIFE TODAY. (Luke 12: 15; Luke 15: 10).

6. When a man’s sense is not complete:
The Prodigal son lost his senses for years to worldliness and sin; that is what happens when one loses touch with Jesus Christ. Are your senses still intact? When you live in sin; your sense is incomplete. (Luke 15: 17).

7. His Lordship’s two questions I tagged questions of ownership:
What controls your life?
What is your motive for serving the Lord? Friends, in this kingdom, your motive defines and determines your rewards. The marker of your being a genuine child of God is that His love compels you. Are you controlled by the love of God or by human motivation? We don’t live for ourselves here. (2 Corinthians 5: 13 – 15).

8. His Lordship’s definition of Christian maturity:
Christian maturity is subjected to total submission to God’s will. How much can you obey / submit to His will even when it is not conducive to the flesh? (Hebrews 5: 12 – 14).

9. His Lordship’s short letter to young girls:
Dear young girl, when you keep yourself for God; He empowers you for exploits. Be a girl that holds oneself; build capacity via character. Dress the way you want to be addressed. (Proverbs 31: 22, 25)

10. Dear woman, you are a minus to divinity if all your beauty is only of the outward but rotten in your inner man (the heart). (Proverbs 31: 30)

11. When God’s rating over your life is zero percent; it indicates red light. Even though men can rate you too high, it does not indicate you are a child of God. Please, live to please God all the days of your life, friends. (1 Peter 3: 3 & 4)

12. Dear lady, you are a prostitute whenever you make what is meant to be private to now be public. You can be a Pastor’s wife / child; President’s, Governor’s, wife / child yet you are a prostitute. Please don’t make what is meant to be private public, dear lady. (Proverbs 31: 25)

FRIENDS, WE CELEBRATE YOU FOR MAKING IT TO THE YEAR OF OUR LORD “2026”. ENJOY AN OPEN HEAVEN, WITH YOURS, ESPECIALLY IN THIS MONTH OF JANUARY. Congratulations!
