APRIL 2026 EDITION OF EXCERPTS
APRIL 2026 EDITION OF EXCERPTS FROM SOME OF HIS LORDSHIP’S MESSAGES.
MUCH LOVE AND GREETINGS FROM YOUR FRIEND AND BISHOP – THE RT. REV’D PROF. SAMUEL O. IKE, the Diocesan Bishop of Enugu (Anglican Communion).
Please read, digest and share.
1. The measure to which the word of God dwells in you, is the same measure to which sin is flushed out of your system / vessels. Ensure you study and embrace God’s word daily; it has the grace to make you pure before the Lord. (John 17:17; Psalm 119: 9, 11; Colossians 3:16).
2. Friends, is the God of heaven your God or the god of the belly? When your passion for the kingdom of God is motivated by worldly material possessions, you are on the pathway to self destruction. (Philippians 3: 17 – 19).
3. Nothing strengthens a man in life and destiny like what God shows him, by encounter. The grace for yesterday is not enough for tomorrow’s journey. Please, pursue the infilling of the Holy Spirit daily. (Ephesians 5:18; Luke 11:13).
4. It is risk of the highest order to be a tither; build cathedrals for God; be a priest and pastor etc, yet you are not “Born Again”. Friend, your soul is more important to God than your deeds and what you eventually become in life. (Matthew 6:33; Mark 8: 36,37).
5. His Lordship gave a valid definition of people who are qualified to be candidates of heaven. Anyone, anywhere, anytime who is not yet Born Again is a candidate of heaven. Please don’t give up on that ardent sinner around you. (Luke 19:10; Luke 5:31 & 32).
6. Friends, this is who you are, without the breath of God – DUST AND ASH. Friends, be humbled and serve God. (Genesis 2:7; Job 34:14 & 15).

7. His Lordship’s Seasoned Short Letter to Pastors:
Dear pastors, who you are in the private (your private life), determines the kind of Church ( members) you produce. Indeed, ‘deep calls to deep’. You cannot be living in immorality, and other hideous sins in the secret and expect to produce a Holy Church. (Titus 1:7; 1 Timothy 4:16).
8. When God Knows a Man:
God does not know a man by his title but by identity; when a man confesses Him as his Lord and personal saviour. Have you identified with the salvific grace of Jesus? Please do it today. (Ephesians 2:8 & 9).
9. The most valuable and the most used gift within the human race by man, yet it doesn’t belong to him – THE BREATH. Please always live with the consciousness that the breath you breathe does not belong to you; you will one day stop breathing. Eternity is real. (Hebrews 9:27).
10. Friends, being successful in life and destiny does not depend on who you know (having either long or short leg); it depends on the word you know. Your greatest and the most productive responsibility in this kingdom for a glorious life, yet the most difficult to many is staying on the word of God. (Joshua 1:8; Matthew 6: 33).
11. Don’t be overloaded with bad news, friends. It has the capacity to weigh you down; rather, be loaded with God’s word. (James 1:21).
12. His Lordship gave a secret on how to live an overwhelming lifestyle in this hard and horrible times: LOOK INWARDS; HIS GOODNESS IS DEEP. (Psalm 145:9; Lamentations 3:22 & 23).
FRIENDS, THE LORD WILL CAUSE YOU AND YOURS TO ENJOY ALL-ROUND PEACE IN THIS SECOND QUARTER OF 2026 ESPECIALLY IN THIS MONTH OF MAY. Congratulations.
